The first girl is Janaba and her smiling all the time is amazing.  The second girl again is Chingling.  She is not shy with me anymore and talks all the time, usually I have no idea what she is saying ;)

    Marc,

Thanks for sending me a message on the MCA. I had been wondering where you were. Your blog is amazing and I’m jealous that I don’t have the same courage that you have to embark on this adventurous journey. I’ll be checking back here often to see how you’re doing and looking forward to your photos.

If you still need some calendars, please let me know & I’ll ship a bunch over from my company.

    Hey Marc,
You know how those Visa commercials go…your expression in that photo… Priceless! You’d make a great dad someday. LOL. Who took that photo?

  4. Your dad forwarded your website link to me (I used to work for your father in Chicago – just a wonderful person). Your experience in Gambia is just amazing. I am an artist and truly enjoyed viewing all of your photographs. I am looking forward to seeing more posts. Is there any way to track or “follow” your website/blog?
