Little Nday revisted…
A few days ago I visited little Nday’s compound again. She is living with her mom and I do not think her father is around. I am trying to raise some money to get her new clothes and help her mom out to make life just a little more comfortable. Please support Nday and her mom. Contact me if you would like to make any amount of donation.

The Serer compound in Banjul…
The Serer is one of the Gambian tribes. They are truly the working class of The Gambia. From domestic work, cooking and laundry, they do hard work here. These pictures are from a Serer compound in Banjul, I spent about one hour to observe and take some images.

The little model Nima…
There is a little girl named Nima and her mother works at the Hair Salon school and saw her. She is 3 years old and already a model.

Nday & Mariyama from Latrikunda…
I had to post this picture of Nday, she is adorable and deserves the world to see her! She lives in a small room with her family, probably the size of a closet in America. The other picture is Mariyama, she also lives in the same compound.

The food bowl…
My friend Amran Gaye gave me some ideas on future shoots and this is just the start on some projects coming up. The shots were taken in Banjul at a Serer compound. I couldn’t spend time there due to the coming rain yesterday. I wanted to capture some images around the food bowl at lunch time, pretty interesting.

Ocean Bay in Cape Point…
Sukai and Sukai are the models for today. They both wanted to model their Gambian clothing and it was a perfect day and no rain. I did have to pay the guy $2.00 to borrow the horses for the photoshoot. It was nice to relax at the beach and it was a cooler breezy day compared to the usual.
