Marcus Walton, Peace Corps Volunteer in Guyana & The Gambia

The night before……

6/30/08

It felt like a never ending project to get the house cleaned and everything out. Thanks to my parents getting dirty and helping out today. I am all packed and ready to head out to Philadelphia for the Peace Corps “The Gambia” staging and orientation. It will be interesting to meet the group tomorrow at 2pm and start the process. The hardest part at the moment is all the anticipation and not knowing exactly on what i signed my life for the next two years, which is part of the PC.

I will try to keep this blog current, I have no idea on how much net access I will have there.

Hey Marc, it’s me Jiro. K told me about where you went and pointed me toward your site when I went to see Glen. I hope you have safe travels over there. Nice pictures, I’m going to browse through them as time allows. My wife just had a baby, so I have been a little short on time. I hope to hear from you as time allows.
